Top 3 tips for future brides:
* Enjoy you wedding day. Put all the worries and stress behind you.
* If something goes wrong, try to fix it if you can. If not then let it be and move on.
* Remember to thank everyone for helping and coming to share your special day with you.

The Best Thing about the day:
I loved incorporating our culture and tradition with special touches here and there. br>
What went wrong?
Trying to follow tradition exactly how our grandparents would have wanted us to. We did not have the knowledge or experience and had to take things as they came.

The Location:
The Levine Museum of the New South. We wanted something new and different. We fell in love with the open space and décor. It was in uptown Charlotte and that allowed us to be part of the town we grew up in.

The Planning:
I did most of the planning on my own. I love to plan events so this allowed me to do that. I enjoyed very minute of it. I had about a year to plan and asked input here and there especially from my parents guiding me with the ways of tradition.

Theme:
Asian theme: wedding ceremony: red (traditional) & pink. Reception: pink and green

Décor:
Flowers, lanterns, and lots of candles.

Flowers:
Bride: pink roses. Groom, groomsmen, fathers, flower girl and grandparents: white roses. Bridesmaids: pink and green roses. Mothers:Lilies . Centerpieces: White and Pink Roses, Hydrangeas, and Lilies.

Menu: 10 course family style meal that included:

Appetizers: * Seafood Soup * Cold Plate * Crab claws
Entree * Tangerine Beef * Seafood Pan Fried Noodle * Ginger Lobster * Sa Cha Chicken * Yan Chow Fried Rice
Dessert * Fruit Platter * Wedding cake

Cake:
Vanilla cake with fresh strawberry and whipped cream filling. A four tier cake.

Favors: To go boxes that were filled at the candy station.

Budget: 20,000

Honeymoon Location: Dominican Republic
